The Caracas Carousel: Five Players Milking the €5B Coke Machine

(ARiVL – Opinion. All of this is my personal opinion and analysis based on open-source data and events as I saw them on [Dec 8, 2025]. Numbers and situations can shift; this is a snapshot, not gospel.)

The €5 Billion Cocaine Dividend

Imagine a perfect money-printing machine.

You freeze someone else’s bank account, pocket the interest every year, call it “solidarity,” and loan the same money out to a victim at a higher rate while demanding their future minerals as collateral. You let a few hundred tons of cocaine slip through your ports every year because the resulting “crime wave” keeps your sanctions politically bulletproof. You insure the ghost tankers that haul the sanctioned oil, then act shocked when someone actually starts sinking the narco-boats that ride alongside them.

That machine exists. It prints roughly €5–6 billion a year. And it only works if five very different players keep the wheel turning in perfect sync.

This isn’t a conspiracy theory. It’s a business model.

Over the next five stops, we’re going to walk the loop, player by player: Venezuela, Iran & Hezbollah, Russia, China, and finally the quiet architects in Brussels who built the ride, oil the gears, and cash the tolls while lecturing the rest of us about virtue. The carousel just goes round and round.

Buckle up. The house always wins, until someone finally notices who the house actually is.

Venezuela – The Narco-Hub Heart

Venezuela isn’t just a transit stop for Colombian coke; it’s the finishing shop where paste gets chemically upgraded in jungle labs and ports, turning 5-10 % of the flow into high-grade powder before it ships to Europe and the US. UNODC’s 2025 report pegs 5-10 % of US-bound product routing through here, with Europol noting a sharp spike in VZ-linked seizures via West Africa. Insight Crime spots the surge: sanctions and corruption make it a value-add hub, bumping street prices while the regime skims.

At the center: Cartel de los Soles, the military corruption web (Foreign Terrorist Organization-tagged Nov 2025) where officers like Diosdado Cabello and Tareck El Aissami ($10 M bounty) greenlight ops for tolls: 10-20 % at checkpoints, ports, and bases. TdA, the prison-born gang (Foreign terrorist org. Feb 2025), runs the street muscle: Niño Guerrero’s crew launders massive amounts each month via crypto and drug parties, with Treasury hitting affiliates Dec 3 for “entertainers” like Rosita Navarro funding escapes. Maduro’s family? Nephews busted with 800 kg in 2015 (swapped back 2022); his wife’s son said to be probed for trafficking per US sources. Ex-intel chief Hugo Carvajal’s Dec 2 prison letter to Trump lays it bare: Maduro weaponizes migrants and gangs as “asymmetric war,” with Cartel de los Soles enabling Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia/National Liberation Army alliances for paste runs and Hezbollah gold swaps.

Hegseth’s 23 strikes (87 killed by Dec 4) torch boats but pump bonds +96 % YTD: evasion wins. The regime spent twenty years LARPing jungle warriors, stacking S-300s and Kalashnikovs for the “imminent Yankee invasion” that never came. Then the second someone actually shoots back, they drop the rifle, clutch pearls, and cry “these were innocent little fishermen!”

Gross neglect, an assault on the dignity of their people and Planet Earth (mercury-poisoned rivers), but is it all the regime’s doing, or do the voters share some blame? Who knows… One thing is for sure: they’re eating cute, loyal dogs while the generals whine about “unfair” boat strikes. Where you at Karen?

Vibe question: When did the big anti-imperialist revolutionaries turn into the guys who spent decades prepping for D-Day, then cried victim the first time someone splashed a couple of their speedboats?

Iran & Hezbollah/Lebanon – The Barter Engine Fueling Terror with Gold and Gas

Iran keeps Venezuela’s lights flickering and its generals loyal with shipments totaling 1.5 million barrels of gasoline and condensate, shipped straight from Bandar Abbas to Amuay. In return, Caracas coughs up heavy Merey crude that Iran desperately needs to blend with their own light oil, plus the real dessert: gold bars flown out on at least seventeen documented Mahan Air runs since 2020, cargo manifests blank or labeled “humanitarian aid.”

That gold isn’t payment for fuel; it’s the untraceable slush fund that buys refinery spare parts, drone engines, and missile guidance kits too hot for normal tankers. Hezbollah does the digging: Lebanese-Venezuelan crews in the illegal Orinoco Mining Arc pull roughly $100–300M a year, poison the rivers with mercury, and truck the bars to Margarita Island, where the Nassereddine clan melts, stamps, and ships them onward to Turkey and Dubai. Meanwhile, the same island hosts training camps where Hezbollah instructors teach TdA thugs and FARC remnants how to fly shitty drone swarms, mostly to buzz rival gangs and spot gringo civilian boats that get too close to the coke routes. Meanwhile they act like we are the bad guy because we are not as attackable as the innocents they normally target.

The drones themselves? Shahed-136 knock-offs that Ukraine and Israel have been microwaving at 95–99 % kill rates all year. The grand plan seems to be: steal enough resources from the Venezuelan people (Courtesy of Maduro) to waste ammo on slow, loud toys that the United States will simply microwave. Bravo… Genius-level IQs here. We’ve already moved on to simple microwave jammers and 1980s Phalanx cannons. The tactic is cooked; they just haven’t noticed yet. They are too bright, I am sure…

Maduro calls Hezbollah “brothers in resistance” while the brothers skim gold off the top and bottom, and his own people get placed in the trunk of the car. All so a socialist bus driver can cosplay global jihad with someone else’s stolen resources. To them, he is a “Brother in arms” or an “Infidel”… But who’s keeping score anyway? I’m sure it is all love… lol.

Vibe question: When did “anti-imperialist solidarity” become a fancy way of saying “please keep stealing my country’s gold so I can LARP with toy drones”?

Russia – The Arms-for-Oil Muscle Powering the Shadow Fleet

Russia has been running the exact same play since the Cold War: sneak around, assume we’re sneaking harder, and project their own paranoia onto everyone else. Venezuela is just the latest convenient jungle stage.

They park S-300 batteries around coke ports, open a Kalashnikov factory that spits out more rifles than the country could ever use, and keep a ghost fleet of 600–1,400 rusty tankers shuffling discounted Urals and Venezuelan heavy crude to China and India, all hidden behind fake flags, ship-to-ship transfers, and insurance loopholes that Greek and Dubai middlemen happily pocket until Brussels pretends to close them.

The official story is “we must defend against imminent Yankee invasion.” The reality: twenty years of jungle LARP waiting for Marines that never showed up.

Meanwhile the blending game is quietly smart (light Russian oil + heavy Venezuelan goo = “clean” barrels nobody can trace), and Putin is already whispering to Trump, “Hey, we’ve got way more minerals in Siberia—wanna do a real deal and forget this circus?”

Translation: Russia will milk Caracas for cheap crude and middle-finger points until a better offer lands, then ghost the second the music stops. Same script, different decade. We’ve seen this movie so many times we don’t even pause the popcorn.

Vibe question: Did the big scary bear go from the guy who’s been prepping for a beach invasion that never came, and quietly start shopping for the exit the moment a cleaner deal sparkles in the distance?

China – The Silent Buyer Turning Crypto Into Clean Cash

China doesn’t play the shadow-fleet game. They just wait at the end of the pipe with a vacuum cleaner.

Roughly 90 % of Venezuela’s oil production, up to half of Russia’s sanctioned crude, and half of Iran’s barrels all end up in the same place: the small, independent “teapot” refineries scattered across Shandong province. Those plants don’t ask questions, don’t care about fake flags or spoofed locations, and happily process the cheapest, dirtiest heavy oil on earth.

Payment is simple: digital dollars (Tether/USDT) sent over the Tron blockchain. No Western bank ever touches it. PDVSA made it mandatory in 2024; by 2025, 70–80 % of Venezuelan oil sales to China settle this way. Russia and Iran are copying the trick. One click and the sanctions disappear.

Beijing saves $30–40 billion a year buying fire-sale oil nobody else wants, while quietly stockpiling Brazilian iron ore, African cobalt, and even Australian LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) for the day the circus finally collapses. They’re already halfway out the door, just waiting for the last clown to run out of gas.

Maduro still screams that America wants to steal his oil. China just nods, sends another wallet address, and takes 90 % of it for pennies on the dollar. The oil… almost stolen either way.

Vibe question: When did the “anti-imperialist alliance” turn into China showing up to the yard sale with a truck, buying everything for a nickel, and leaving before anyone notices the house is empty?

European Union – The Regulatory Profiteer Cashing the Cocaine Dividend

Europe built the perfect machine: freeze €260 billion in Russian central-bank money, skim the €5–6 billion yearly interest like it’s a personal ATM, call it “extraordinary revenue,” then loan it back to Ukraine at interest while demanding future lithium and titanium as collateral. All perfectly legal, all perfectly moral, all perfectly dependent on the war never ending.

They preach “solidarity” while Greek tankers still haul Venezuelan crude under new flags, while Antwerp and Rotterdam set new cocaine-seizure records, and while the same ports quietly pocket hundreds of millions in “facilitation fees” from the containers that get waved through. The crime wave keeps the sanctions “necessary,” the sanctions keep the assets frozen, the frozen assets keep printing the dividend. Neat trick…

When Washington finally tried a cleaner minerals-for-peace deal with Kyiv, Brussels and its friends whispered just loud enough for Zelensky to back out, screaming “neo-colonialism” at the one country that had been handing out grants instead of loans. Now that we’re adapting and talking directly to Moscow, suddenly Europe wants a seat at the new table too.

They start fights they can’t finish, hide behind American guns, ruin our deals, pocket the cash, start a bunch of shit, and still wag the moral finger like they invented virtue. The fake playground bully who runs to big brother the second someone swings back.

Vibe question: When did the “rules-based international order” turn into a bunch of finger-wagging moralists who steal lunch money, cry victim, and expect the United States to keep fighting their battles while they cash the cocaine-dusted dividend?

Final Epilogue – Who Blinks First

The music is slowing.

This EU carousel only keeps spinning as long as somebody is willing to keep feeding it blood, oil, cocaine, and other people’s money.

One honest phone call from Washington to Moscow, one real minerals-for-peace deal, one actual ceasefire that sticks, and the ghost tankers stop sailing, the frozen assets unfreeze, the €5–6 billion dividend vanishes overnight, and the whole ride grinds to a halt.

Brussels knows it. Beijing knows it. Even Caracas knows it.

That’s why the finger-wagging is getting louder, the sanctions packages are getting longer, and the moral lectures are getting shriller. Karen is about, but the manager is temporarily unavailable.

The second the shooting stops, the house of cards doesn’t just fall; it turns out the house was never made of cards at all. It was made of friction.

And friction only pays when the carousel keeps spinning.

So here’s the only question left in late 2025:

Who blinks first?
